Top 10 Qualifying in Assen for Jaylen Korporaal
Jaylen Korporaal made an impressive debut in the Northern Talent Cup today, qualifying 9th at the iconic TT Circuit Assen. The young ADR Racing rider faced unexpected hurdles — including losing his kneeslider not once but three times during the session — but showed real composure under pressure to earn a top 10 spot on the grid.
In dry and cool conditions, Jaylen set a fastest lap of 1’48.876, just 1.780 seconds off pole position. His determination and focus paid off in the final minutes of the session, proving he’s already capable of mixing it with some of the best young talents in Europe.
“There was definitely more potential today, but that’s racing,” Jaylen said. “We’re in a good spot on the grid, and tomorrow is what really counts — that’s when the points are up for grabs. Let’s see what we can do.”
A statement performance
What really stood out was Jaylen’s top speed: 203.4 km/h — the fastest of the entire field during qualifying. It’s a clear sign of both rider confidence and a strong bike setup from the ADR Racing team. It’s an exciting indicator of the pace that’s already there and the potential that’s still to be unlocked.
Looking ahead
With a third-row start in hand, Jaylen is in a great position heading into tomorrow’s race. The whole team is proud of the result and ready for what’s next.
